SPM goes Micro - Airlancing

A further mission accomplished – SPM goes Micro Airlancing, multi-parallel.

The process of Airlancing & Vacuuming is a well established and clean method of removing catalyst bulk solids from tubular reactors. Under normal circumstances, particles are relatively small compared to the tube diameter, making it rather easy to achieve a stable flow when emptying the tubes.

However, things get really exciting & challenging concerning clogging & jamming with very small tube diameters (e.g. well smaller than 15 mm).

But this is exactly what our valued customer inquired, together with the requirement for one operator to empty out multiple tubes simultaneously.

We presented him our concept, tested & validated the prototype at our in-house facilities and delivered to him operational machinery within just a few weeks. All units went straight into operation on the next project and worked to a full success.
